A few years back my wife and I took a July 4th trip to Breckenridge Colorado, and hiked up Crystal Peak.  This is a panoramic from the trail head – the sky really was that blue.  Great day in the mountains, not doing IT work!

And a bonus picture below – this is Dandelions at the Wall from a trip to Berlin.  The wall is now gone, with only a few sections left, slowly being reclaimed by the elements.  I see them as a permanent monument to what happens when ‘the greater good’ overshadows individual freedom and liberty.  So here’s to all those who stand on other walls and protect our independence from the forces of socialism and totalitarianism.  Long may freedom ring!
