When we visited Tasmania, we took a cruise out into the great southern ocean (someone told me that makes us ‘old salts’), and found these sea loins relaxing on a rocky outcropping. Beautiful sight. The smell? Not so much :-).
Cape Tourville Tasmania
We’ve been to Australia three times now, twice to Melbourne, and once to Sydney and Tasmania. It’s been an exotic place ever since Bugs Bunny first introduced me to it, and when the chance came, we decided to spend some time driving around the island. On one overcast and rainy day, we drove down to Cape Tourville to see the bay – what you can’t tell is that I’m underneath an umbrella, desperately trying to get the pano shot before more raindrops fall on the lens. And what you really can’t tell is my wife in the car, laughing at me, because she’s dry and warm!
Friday Photo – Merry Christmas from the Denver Botanic Gardens
We often go to the Denver Botanic Gardens for their Blossoms of Light event – a great family tradition, and all the better when it’s a white Christmas. We have a shot at one again this year, so here’s hoping!
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
